Cicely Pflieger, CEO & Lead Instructor

Cicely has worked in the medical field since 2003, beginning her career as an EMT and gaining extensive experience in EMS and the emergency department. She is a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant with clinical experience in cardiology, neurology, and orthopedic surgery, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of South Florida.

With a strong passion for education, Cicely has taught and tutored students in subjects ranging from emergency medicine and EMT curriculum to CPR and First Aid for both medical and non-medical audiences. She is known for her ability to connect with learners from all backgrounds and for making complex topics clear, engaging, and approachable.

Shane Pflieger, COO & Director of Training

Shane is the Director of Training with nearly 30 years of experience in emergency medicine and cardiovascular care. His career began as an Army Medic and continued in civilian roles as a Paramedic and Critical Care Flight Paramedic, serving his community for over two decades. He currently works as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, assisting in life-saving cardiovascular procedures for patients experiencing emergencies such as heart attacks.

Shane holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of South Florida and has dedicated much of his career to education, serving as a Field Training Officer, preceptor, Lead EMT instructor, and CPR/First Aid instructor. His strong leadership, real-world experience, and passion for delivering high-quality patient care make him an exceptional educator.
